The RSL10 Solar Cell Multi-Sensor Platform is a reference board design developed by ON Semiconductor.

It includes a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transceiver combined with low power sensors that are able to monitor environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, three-dimensional acceleration, and ambient light.

Applications are expected to include smart home and building automation such as HVAC control, window/door sensors and air quality monitoring.

The platform is solely powered with a solar cell developed by Ribes Tech. The intergration of our PV films is a key factor to the development of low-cost IoT sensors that are entirely powered through renewable energy or energy harvested from the sensor’s surroundings, gathering and communicating data without the need for batteries or maintenance.
